Why Asia? Why now?
Asia is roaring. Europe is completely flat. U.S is mature, and quite slow too.
Tell us what do you expect from DEMO Asia. What's your vision for DEMO in Asia?
The vision for DEMO Asia make it a place where you can find the most disruptive technologies launching here, and have an intelligent debate about what it all means. This would be very valuable to everyone: People can make better decisions; deals get done based on better information.
What are the roles you expect DEMO to play in the Asian tech scene?
We want to be a constant eye and ear; our role is celebrate the disruptors. I really believe that technologist help push society forward, and that's a glorious thing. That's why I want to be associated with helping this along. It's what gets me out of bed every day.
What can people expect to see / learn at DEMO Asia?
There will be a lot of context and advice about what technologies are launching here, why they are launching here, and insights about to where it all going. Deals will get done, as a result. The best companies launching here will get publicity, and they'll get funding too. They'll also meet partners, and do more deals in areas like sales, marketing, joint venturing, reselling, and so on.
Will this be an annual tech event in Asia?
Yes.
