In 1973, Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and political satire was pronounced dead. Now Defense Secretary Ash Carter is giving him his department’s “Distinguished Public Service Award,” explaining away Kissinger’s hand in a few million deaths, saying Henry was “engaged in good causes.”
