Internet Freedom Across The World Visualized [Infographic]

Global internet freedom has declined for the fifth year in succession, according to independent watchdog organization Freedom House. Out of 65 countries analyzed by Freedom House, 42 required internet users or private companies to restrict or delete online content, up from 37 last year.

China, the nation with the world's largest online population, comes rock bottom for internet freedom this year. Content deemed politically or socially sensitive is blocked  while a host of western internet companies including Google , Facebook , Twitter and YouTube have experienced regular bans.
