Dendreon (DNDN) Expected to Report More Narrow Loss

Dendreon is expected to book a narrower loss than a year ago when it reports third quarter earnings on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 with analysts expecting a loss of 42 cents per share, up from a loss of $1.04 per share a year ago.

For the fiscal year, analysts are projecting a loss of $1.73 per share. After being $78 million a year ago, analysts project revenue to drop 2% year-over-year to $76.7 million for the quarter. For the year, revenue is projected to roll in at $299.5 million.

Over the last four quarters, revenue has fallen an average of 15% year-over-year. The biggest drop came in the fourth quarter, when revenue fell 58% from the year-earlier quarter.
