Streaming video was big, yet pirating Game of Thrones and Walking Dead was bigger.  Cybersecurity startups reaped the benefits of high profile security hacks, though plenty of people continued to say dumb things about encryption. We saw the Google Glass Explorers program die an unlamented death, while Apple Watch became a wearables star. Watching other people play video games went mainstream and virtual reality got even more real. And no (dug up) bones about it, the world of science made the most out of fossil finds.
