'Full House' Home Hits Market for $4.15 Million

This article is more than 7 years old.

The Victorian home made famous by the '80s sitcom Full House—located at 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco’s Lower Pacific Heights—is now for sale for $4.15 million. And fans of the show are bound to do a double take when they see the home’s new look.

The pale-gray facade has been painted a regal indigo hue, and the iconic red door has been eschewed for a seafoam-green portal.

But it's the haven’s sophisticated interior that's sure to throw fans for a loop.

Touted as a “rare piece of San Francisco history,” the real-life abode—built in 1883—opens to a foyer with a staircase, adjacent to a hall that runs parallel to the living room and into the family room.

The classically styled stretch is a far cry from the Tanners' motley, kid-centric expanse.

The family room connects to a small library with built-in bookshelves.

Measuring 2,985 square feet, the home is comprised of three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths including a master suite with a walk-in closet and a marble fireplace.

Danny Tanner's bedroom wasn't nearly as elegant as its real-life counterpart.

Clad in beige, the eat-in kitchen features a massive island, plenty of cabinet space, and a black-and-white-striped floor—not to mention a full wine refrigerator.

With ample storage and counter space, the kitchen is fit for a chef.

The lower level contains a den that opens to the outdoor terrace and lawn, plus a full bath, laundry facilities, and access to the single-car garage.

While the storied home starred in the series’ opening credits (and in a handful of scenes) throughout its eight-season run, most of the show was filmed in the Warner Bros. studio in Burbank, where the set of Fuller House—the new Netflix spinoff—can also be found.

Perhaps a member of the original cast will invest in the sentimental spread.

The Olsen twins, who played little Michelle, could certainly afford it (though they’re likely too busy running their fashion empire in New York to even notice the new listing).
