Finding great photographs on Instagram can be hard. And finding photographers who consistently showcase high-quality work on the platform is even more difficult. In this "Best Of Instagram" series I feature the work of talented, creative Instagramers from around the world who produce great work that you should be following. Each installment focuses on a specific type of photography, locale, or theme. Last time we featured the work of some inspiring street photographers.
Today we take a look at four Instagrammers whose love of the outdoors and keen understanding of color and light, make for some captivating landscape images.
Sandra Lundin

Swedish photographer Sandra Lundin makes her home in the lakeside town of Karlsborg. It's perhaps no surprise then, that water and shorelines appear regularly in her work. Although she's been active on Instagram for just under a year, she's already attracted more than 25,000 followers with her self-described, "simple and clean" style. Lundin uses her iPhone exclusively for her Instagram photos and edits her images with either Snapseed or VSCO Cam.
You can see more of Lundin's photos and other personal projects on her blog. (If your Swedish is rusty, you can use Google Translate.)

Calgary is home base for Canadian Instagrammer Mike Seehagel. After a brief stint as a studio photographer, Seehagel now plies his trade as a motion designer and animator. Clearly photography is still a major passion, as Seehagel routinely captures majestic scenes of Calgary's unspoiled mountains, lakes and valleys. Seehagel carries both an iPhone 5S and Canon 5D Mark III on all of his shoots, using whichever camera best captures the mood he's after. He edits the majority of his iPhone images solely with VSCO Cam, turning to Snapseed when additional tweaks are needed.
You can see more of Seehagel's portfolio on his website.
Kyle Kuiper

San Diego freelance photographer Kyle Kuiper traces his love of photography to back to receiving his first film camera as an eighth grader. Kuiper's Instagram feed displays a great eye for color and texture and offers a number of impressive backlit landscape compositions. "I try to capture any and everything around me in a way the creates a unique perspective ," he says. Kuiper limits most of his Instagram to the iPhone, but you'll find images shot with his Canon DSLR sprinkled in as well. Snapseed and VSCO Cam are the apps he uses to edit his iPhone images and he turns to Adobe's Lightroom for his DSLR photos.
