6 Valentine's Day Cocktails You'll Love

Some couples prefer to go out for a cocktail and dinner for Valentine’s Day while others prefer to celebrate at home. Whatever your preference these bartenders and mixologists have these love-inspired cocktails meant for two available at the bar and gave us their recipes, in case you wanted to turn up the heat at home. Here are our 6 favorite Valentine's Day cocktails, with recipes.

Get Lucky! by Moses Laboy (Bottle & Bine, NYC)

1 oz Grey Goose Vodka

1.5 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur

.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

.5 oz Cherry Hearing

4 dashes Regans' Orange  Bitters

Add all ingredients into a shaker over ice. Shake vigorously till cold and double strain over fresh 2 inch cube. Served in a vessel for two over a large ice cube with a secret Valentine's Day fortune in it.

Lyrick Lark by Brian Means (Dirty Habit, San Francisco)

4 oz Cana Brava Rum

3 oz Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur

2 oz Lemon Juice

2 oz Honey Syrup (1 part honey to 1 part water)

.25 oz Suze

Combine all the ingredients in an antique shaker (if you have one). Add ice and place the top on the shaker and lightly shake. Serve with 2 punch glasses filled with ice and garnish with raspberries and a mint sprig.

Kiss by Brett Esler (Whisler's, Austin)

3 oz Mount Gay Black Barrel rum

6 muddled raspberries

1 oz Rhum Clement Coconut Liqueur

1 oz Lemongrass simple syrup

.5 oz Lemon juice

2 barspoons Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur

2 oz Topo Chico mineral water

In a pint glass, muddle 6 raspberries, and add in all ingredients except for the the Topo Chico mineral water. Give a hard shake and strain into two heart shaped cocktail vessels. Then add in 1 oz of Topo Chico to each cocktail. Serve on tray with 2 straws, a couple of rose petals, two votive candles and enjoy!

Can't Help It If I'm Lucky by Michael Neff (Holiday Cocktail Lounge, NYC)

1 1/2 Wild Turkey Rye Whiskey

1 High West Peach Reduction

1/2 Amaro Montenegro

2 Dash Angostura Bitters

Spray Sea Salt Brine

Garnished with a blue monkey and hope for a brighter future.

Piccadilly Tea Party by Nick Bennett (Porchlight, NYC, available on Saturday, February 13)

3 oz Fords Gin

1 oz Framboise

1 oz Tom’s Tonic

1.5 oz Green Tea Simple Syrup

1.5 oz Lemon Juice

8 dashes Teapot Bitters

Build all ingredients in a mixing tin. Whip shake and pour into the appropriate vessel. Top with Pebble Ice and form a mound of ice that tops the vessel. Garnish elaborately and use two straws. Garnish elaborately with a mint bouquet, 3-4 lemon wheels, 3-4 berries (blackberries or raspberries) and freshly-grated nutmeg. For added flair, use a 32-ounce white tea pot.

F.A.F. Martini for Two by Jim Kearns (Slowly Shirley, NYC, available on Friday and Saturday, February 12 and 13)

4 oz Burrough's Reserve Gin

2 oz Dry Vermouth

Stir, serve in an ice bucket in matching carafes. Garnish with two house-brined olives and two lemon twists.
