The 10 Jobs Most Applied For In 2015

This article is more than 8 years old.

Which jobs have attracted the most attention from those hunting for work this year?

The jobs that appear here reflect those that received the greatest number of applications on Indeed.com this year. Each of the jobs listed here received more than 500 applications, and the list excludes office administrative roles--usually the most sought after positions, as a group--in order to provide a broader representation of the types of jobs receiving the greatest attention from job seekers.

At the top of the list is Human Resource Managers --classified as a management occupation rather than administrative--the only office job to make the list. Next up are Photographic Processing Machine Operators, a sought after job as it grows increasingly scarce.

Packers and Packagers, Hand, comes in third. Several other Transportation and Material Moving occupations make this list as well, including Material Moving Workers, All Other; Tank Care, Truck, and Ship Loaders; and Laborers and Freight, Stock, and Material Movers, Hand.

Cashiers and Ushers, Lobby Attenants, and Ticket Takers make the list. Though these jobs often appear on lists of the worst paying jobs in the country, they remain in demand among job seekers looking for entry-level work.

Derrick Operators, Oil and Gas, and Flight Attendants round out the top 10.
