Forbes Trump Tracker: Who Dumped The Donald Today?

This article is more than 8 years old.

Since announcing he'll run for president, Donald Trump has shot off his mouth like never before (and that's saying something). In his kick-off campaign speech two weeks ago, he said Mexican immigrants were bringing in drugs and crime, he accused them of being rapists, and he said he wanted to build a border wall paid for by the Mexican government--comments he's since defended. His words have gotten him a fair amount of press, but have also cost him dearly. Below, we're tracking the groups, brands and companies that have decided to dump Trump.

July 9, Geoffrey Zakarian

The chef, television star, and partner in NYC's the Lambs Club and consultant at Atlantic City's Water Club backed out of a plan to open a branch of the National, his Midtown Manhattan restaurant, in Trump's new D.C. hotel, saying in a written statement that “the recent statements surrounding Mexican immigrants by Donald Trump do not in any way align with my personal core values.”

July 9, Perfumania

Post Office building, which Trump is turning into a hotel. Andrés emigrated from Spain and became a U.S. citizen.
