EPAM Systems (NYSE:EPAM), Qvidian, Miles Technologies, Talentica Software, Ultimate Software (NASDAQ:ULTI), Palo Alto Networks (NYSE:PANW), Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), Jive Software (NASDAQ:JIVE), Red Hat (NYSE:RHT), and Mentor Graphics (NYSE:MENT) are the top ten companies employees would recommend to a friend.
These and other insights are based on an analysis of Glassdoor rankings of Software Magazine’s 2014 Software 500 list of the leading software companies globally. An Excel spreadsheet of 500 companies was created using the 2014 Software 500 as the baseline, with Glassdoor rankings added for the (%) of employees who would recommend this company to a friend and (%) of employees who approve of the CEO. The Excel spreadsheet the analysis is based on is available for download here. IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22 was used for completing an analysis of the data. The 2014 Software 500 list was used to keep the analysis impartial, and companies with no reviews on Glassdoor were excluded from the analysis. Companies with 15 reviews or less from current employees were also excluded due to the small sample size of reviews relative to total employee count.
