Poll: Fox News Is America's Most Trusted News Channel [Infographic]

A poll conducted by Quinnipiac University has revealed the most trusted network and cable news channels in the United States. Fox News came first, trusted by 29 percent of respondents, a considerable distance ahead of CNN's 22 percent. A further 10 percent of people said  CBS and NBC News have the most trustworthy coverage.

Fox News' success in this poll should come as little surprise, given the channel's popularity and massive ratings. In 2014, it was ranked second behind ESPN in total viewers among all ad-supported basic cable networks. It also had the top five programs in cable news in both total viewers and adults aged between 25 and 54.
