Wish you could be at South By Southwest for the hundreds of great musicians and panels, but can’t make it to Austin? No worries! The Austin, TX-based festival and Roku have got you covered. If you have a Roku, you’ll be able to tune into what’s happening all around SXSW. The festival now has it’s own network on the television addition called SXSW On, and seeing as there are over 2,000 bands playing this year’s event, this new channel will probably have more than enough content to keep you busy for a while.

SXSW On is set to feature plenty of live performances, both from this year’s festival and previous ones. The network will also let people at home listen in on the hundreds of talks and panels that take place during the day and feature some of the biggest influencers and movers and shakers in film, tech, and of course music. This part of the channel is called SXSW Live, and while it’s the focus of why people are interested in the festival, it is not the only offering on the channel.

The new network will also feature original programming created specifically for those watching around the world. One of the new shows, The Road, will follow bands after their sets in an attempt to show how difficult it really can be to live your life as a professional touring musician. Another program called The Nom Nom will feature artists talking about their favorite restaurants, and then watch these establishments try to make it in a competitive marketplace.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring SXSW into living rooms of Roku customers around the world,” said SXSW Director of Technology Scott Wilcox. “Having a dedicated network of original programming through the lens of SXSW is a leap forward for our organization and promises a bright future.”

SXSW begins today with the interactive and film portions of the festival. The music side of things begins on the 17th.
